The cost of a Jones and Bartlett Fundamentals of Firefighting, 4th Edition is NOT included in the cost of this course. Said book can be purchased from our school for an additional $100. If you choose to purchase the book from another source, please contact our school to ensure you purchase the correct version
Our Firefighter II program exceeds the requirements in NFPA, and prepares the candidates to expand their fire knowledge and experience. In addtion to the Firefighter II program, we include our full Rapid Intervention Team training program, including full hands-on training with a Fast Board.
Our Firefighter I program will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday days from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm starting on Thursday, May 1, 2025
Applicants must be at least seventeen (17) years of age on or before the first night of class, and be a sworn member of a fire department. Any candidate under the age of eighteen (18) is elgible to test but will not be certified until their eighteenth (18th) birthday.

This program is designed to prepare new apparatus drivers to take on the responsibility of safely operating fire apparatus, as well as learn how to operate a centrifugal water pumps.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
