The cost of a Jones and Bartlett Fundamentals of Firefighting, 4th Edition is NOT included in the cost of this course. Said book can be purchased from our school for an additional $100. If you choose to purchase the book from another source, please contact our school to ensure you purchase the correct version
The program is fast paced and designed for the high school and college student. will begin on Thursday, May 2, 2024 and will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday days from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (approximate) umtil August 4, 2024.
Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on or before the first night of class, and be a sworn member of a fire department.

This program is designed to prepare new apparatus drivers to take on the responsibility of safely operating fire apparatus, as well as learn how to operate a centrifugal water pumps.
The program will begin on October 25, 2023 and will be held on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. Wednesday evening classes will be from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm (approximate), and Saturdays will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (approximate).
The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, October 25: Basic Pump Classroom, Day 1
Saturday, October 28: 2Q Classroom and Pre-trip Overview
Wednesday, November 1: Basic Pump Classroom, Day 2
Saturday, November 4: Basic Pump Practical Skills
Wednesday, November 8: Pre-trip / Over-the-road
Saturday November 11: Static Course / Over the Road
Saturday, November 18: Static Course / Over the Road
Wednesday, Novemebr 29: Pre-trip Review
Saturday, December 2: 2Q Practical Skills Test
Sunday, December 3: 2Q Practical Skills Test (if needed)
